Screen or Fabric Maintenance:
The Mesh or Fabric of a Manual Drop Screen should be cleaned regularly before substances such as dirt, roof particles and air particles are allowed to accumulate on and become embedded in the material itself.
- To clean the screen or fabric, vacuum using an upholstery brush. Carefully vacuum the inside and outside of the material, taking caution not to snag the screen or fabric itself. Once vacuumed, the screen or fabric can be wiped down with our screen and fabric wipes that may be purchased thru our office.
- Keep pets from clawing or scratching the screen or fabric.
- Use a soft cloth and mild soap detergent to wipe down the powder coated aluminum parts. Do not scrub the extruded aluminum parts as this will damage the powder coated surface.
