The warranty information for our exterior shutters is as follows:

ALUMINUM
Aluminum shutters come with a lifetime material warranty and a 5 year warranty on the factory applied finish.

COMPOSITE
Composite Shutters come with a 10 year material warranty and a 10 year warranty on the factory applied finish.

FIBERGLASS
Fiberglass shutters come with a lifetime material warranty and a 15 year warranty on the factory applied finish.

VINYL
All Vinyl Exterior Shutters come with a 40-year warranty against cracking, splitting and/or excessive fading. The color of the shutter is molded into the shutter material, not just on the surface; meaning the vinyl shutters will maintain its beauty for years.

WOOD
Wood makes a great bold statement. Although we do use the finest materials available, wood does come with a little bit more upkeep than the other options above. Wood is wood, and over time wood might warp, twist, fade, crack or become a termite’s best friend. A great annual paint job and/or stain will help eliminate most of these issues.

For any of the products mentioned above, the homeowner will pay a service call charge of $49.00 after 30 days of installation for any service calls. Please ask the office for a more in depth warranty if needed. In no way, is CHI Products Inc. to be held liable for any harm done to you, your property, and/or your family from misuse of these products listed above.
