5) What is the best way to measure my closet opening?
Measure the inside jam of the opening for the width and height. The shortest measurement is what we use for the height and the widest measurement is what we use for the width. Our doors can be sized to fit any opening that is not exactly standard. In situations where you need something special, we can make a custom door especially to fit the unique closet space or opening that you have!

6) What if my opening space is not square?
You may find that your opening is not square. In that case, it will be necessary to bring it in line. This is not difficult and, unless the doorway is significantly unique in shape, will probably be taken care of simply by leveling the tracks used in the installation or by shimming out opening jam. You can cover small misalignments along the door jambs with decorative trim and shim.

7) How long will it take from when I say go?
The turn around time varies for each product. Please call our office to discuss the product you are interested in so that we can quote out the correct lead time.

8) Can I do my own installation?
Yes, but we would suggest that all doors be measured by Classic Home Improvement Products, Inc. to guaranty a proper fit. Never the less we have professional installers who will be happy to install the closet doors at your home, since this is our specialty.
