Centor Screens FAQ’s

Centor Screens

What is a Centor Screen?

Centor Screens can best be described as a Retractable Screen on steroids. This amazing cable pulley retractable screen system is a delight to use and opens or closes with just the touch of a fingertip. Just like a standard retractable screen, Centor Screens will disappear when not in use and can accommodate openings up to 24’-10” wide and 10’-6” tall.

All Centor Screens can be installed on the interior or exterior of your home depending on the application. They will convert any opening into a shaded, comfortable, private and pest-free environment.

Centor Screens make the most use of natural light. They control heat gain during summer and they reduce heat loss in winter.

Where can I install a Centor Screen?

Centor Screens are the perfect solution for large bi-folding patio doors and compacting sliding patio doors.

What size opening will a Centor Screen accommodate?

Centor Screens have solved the problem of screening off large openings with its magnificent cable pulley retractable screen system. A Centor Screen is the perfect choice for bug or sun protection in large openings up to 24’-10” wide and 10’-6” tall.

What makes the Centor Screen different than a standard Retractable Screen Door?

The Centor Screen can be opened and closed with ease from any height on the vertical pull bar. Centor Screens contain no spring load to fight against.  The screen stands firm in any chosen position across the opening. In simpler terms, the Centor Screen pull bar stays exactly where you place it and will never retract on its own like a standard retractable screen.
